The airframe components are composite structures that are factory painted and polished. A crystal clear canopy and molded cockpit deck with instrument panel are standard. Equipment trays, linkages, servo mounting hardware and a complete color photo enhanced instruction booklet are included.
This system has served the Bandit family aircraft for over 10 years and thousands of flights. The complete system includes BVM's patented Jet Wheels & Brakes utilizing 3" tires on the mains and 2-5/8" on the nose. These are ample size for grass field ops. Following the BVM flex plate design que, the Bandit arf MKII uses strong Carbon Fiber machined plates to save your bandit on those less-than-perfect landings. In-the-field use has shown that these plates can be broken out, replaced, and back in the air within 20 minutes, and your model is spared the internal structural damage.
The bandit fuel system consists of 2 conformal Kevlar fuel cells, an 8oz plastic header tank and the Ultimate Air Trap (U.A.T.) which provides 2.8 Liters of fuel. BVM's Aluminum Cap Fittings are supplied for use with the plastic hopper tank along with all fuel line necessary to plumb the system. The U.A.T. acts as an air bubble eliminator and final filter.
In flight, the wing does most of the work, so we enlisted the expertise of an aero design guy to computer optimize the airfoil and wash-out. Big flaps for lift and drag, generous ailerons, strong landing gear mounts, and Carbon Fiber and Aluminum wing spars are key components of the strength and flight characteristics that make the Bandit so popular. In addition, all surfaces receive factory installed flex hinging.

Turbine Installation Kits
All turbine installation kits include BVM Bypass system, double wall S.S. tailpipe and engine mount hardware.
Landing Gear System
Landing gear system includes: all metal retracts, Duro-Struts, 3" main wheels with brakes, 2-5/8" nose wheel, 3 door cylinders, air line, and all air fittings.
